Luis knows what it means to show up when it matters most. Born to a hardworking immigrant family in Chicago, he grew up understanding that success isn’t just about personal achievement—it’s about lifting others up along the way.

Life put that belief to the test early. When Luis was just 25, he lost his mother, Karinna, to mental health struggles. As the oldest sibling, he suddenly found himself in a position no young adult expects—to step in as the guiding force for his three younger siblings, all still in single-digit ages. While others his age were busy living their own lives through college and parties, Luis made the selfless choice to put his family first. He became their rock, their protector, their biggest supporter.

That same spirit of unwavering dedication carried over into his role as a father. His three children—Giovani (25), Sofia (19), and Esteban (16)—inherited his drive and discipline, channeling it into sports. Gio was a star basketball player in high school and college, Sofi cheered her heart out on the sidelines, and Esteban is now making his own mark on the football field. While Luis never played sports himself, he has been the loudest cheerleader, the proudest father, and the foundation upon which his children have built their success.
